I had been dying to try Taverna for years. Finally did and all I can say is WOW. The olive bread was amazing…the salad and feta was so legit and fresh…the grilled octopus was absolutely incredible 20/10, the grilled calamari was 20/10, the mussels just perfection 20/10….the star of the show the grilled fresh branzini seriously the best piece of grilled fish I’ve ever consumed, a 50/10. This place is the most enjoyable place I’ve been to in Queens in a very long time. The cleanliness and service are top notch as well.

It was my first time trying Greek food in NYC and Taverna Kyclades totally nailed it. We were 4 persons and the place was packed. Waited around 15 to 20 minutes for a table. As soon as we sat the waiter came. I was impressed that even though the place was packed the service was quick and good. We ordered several Greek dishes and wine they were all good. The place was a bit loud but that didn’t affect the quality of the food. Will come back here again for sure.

Amazing experience dining here on a Sunday afternoon. We did have to wait 45 minutes for a table, but it was very worth it! We ordered: steamed clams, grilled octopus, king crab, fried smelt, lemon potatoes, and a Greek salad. We got one of each of the mocktails. Everything was phenomenal!!! All fresh seafood seasoned and cooked to perfection. Everything from the crispy fish to the melt in your mouth feta in the Greek salad....so good. I thought I wouldn't have room for dessert, but it was so light and not too sweet- I ate the whole thing lol Customer service was great. The hostess was friendly, server was knowledgeable and timely, and the manager checked in to make sure our meal was satisfactory. So many restaurants fail to do this, and I'm glad the classic manners aren't completely dead!

I went during the week and was able to get a table with no wait but it was fairly packed. The service wasn't anything special I feel like I got the bare minimum. The food was ok but it was definitely lacking seasoning. I lived in the area for years and didnt know about this place but finally saw them online and decided to go. I definitely didnt have the extraordinary experience everyone else had. The seafood combo was a good price and they give you a free dessert at the end but I don't see myself returning. The seats are very tight together its awkward and hard to go to the bathroom or move around. The calamari while a big portion I really had to use the marinara because it wasnt seasoned and I dont usually like marinara. Not having priced on the menu for the drinks is also crazy.

Excellent top of the line Greek spot. Very very popular and for a good reason: food was great. Large portions, attentive service and lots of seating with nice outside area as well. This is a serious establishment. Doing a great job, TK! Keep it up!
